A lovely set found in Maryland years ago.
This is an antique set of china by Marx & Gutherz Carlsbad.
The set has numbers on the bottom, the clearest of which says model 1819.
The pot is quite large, measure about 9.5” to the top of the finial.
The pitcher is 6” tall at the spout.
The sugar bowl is unusually large at 7-1/8” to the top of the final.
Condition
:
No chips, cracks or crazing.
All the pieces have some loss to gilding.
