Awesome Dave Hill liner tattoo machine in excellent used condition. I’m not sure exactly what year this one was made, but based on the signature stamps, base design, and the coils I’d say early -mid 2000s around 2004-2009. That’s a rough estimate and my personal opinion, not a fact. I’ve owned a few of these from the around 2010- 2015 and they have a different vise and no stamps, a friend of mine had a limited edition model that was from the early 2000s with the stamps and other similar features. Could be a limited edition, or just an older Hill machine. The front binding post set up, the vise screw, springs and coil tape are not original. The rest of the parts I’m sure are og. These are some of my favorite coil machines, they are extremely well made. This one runs flawlessly, it’s cycling at around 120 cps loaded with a 50% duty cycle. It’s great for driving 1-12rl groupings. It doesn’t have much wear or any real flaws, just some normal light surface scratches and it could use a polish. The springs are new 18g rear and 20g front, new brass front binding post ( kingpin I think) w/ used copper contact screw, og brass rear binding post nub with steel clip cord loop, 8 wrap steel core coils w/ nylon bobbin I think, custom brass vise screw, Stamped og Steel Armature bar. What a beast, hard to let this one go.
